Centre Hazard Warning
Line

Saturday 18th October 2003, 5pm to late, Vyner Street,
E2
In conjunction with "Capri" and
hosted by t1+2artspace, Alex Hamilton will reinterpret
road markings as described in the United Kingdom Highway
Code (section 106 Road Markings). Marking the centre
of the road, made from compacted road marking paint,
on the 18th of October 2003, for one day, the unbroken
parts of a Hazard Warning Line, will be expanded upwards
to form a barrier, preventing members of the public
from crossing over them. Until they are demolished or
removed, traffic and pedestrians, cyclists, motorecyclists
and drivers will only be able to cross through the broken
parts of this section of broken Centre Hazard Warning
line. |
